A Sunday Meeting in Presence

This Sunday morning, reading and meditating near a mountain river,
meditate on Loneliness feeling, on Aloneness.

The water has followed its course since time immemorial,
every stone, every reflection, every breath seems to whisper
that nature speaks its own quiet language.

There are encounters that cannot be sought. They arise in moments of Stillness,
when the mind stops searching and the heart simply opens to
the beauty of the living world, when all the being is contemplative.

Unexceptedly, a small snake appears coming out from under a stone,
discreet keeper of hidden depths, symbol of ancient wisdom.
It was delicate, quiet. Its head was very attentive.

Both were surprised. It asks for nothing, imposes nothing.
We were here, just in Presence, in Silence.
It reveals itself for a brief moment, then returns to
the mystery from which it came.

These presence evokes transformation, renewal,
and the life force that always flows through all things,
often beyond the reach of ordinary perception.

Perhaps life’s deepest teachings are not found in the answers we pursue,
but in those moments of pure presence
when the living world reveals itself with effortless simplicity.

Those who take the time to truly contemplate may discover
that nature offers no certainties.
Instead, it opens an Inner Space
where wonder, trust,
and the quiet awareness of belonging to something
infinitely greater than oneself can gently arise.
